A Canadian run, Allied Forces Hospital outside Kandahar, Afghanistan, this multinational trauma centre is populated by doctors and nurses who treat the wounded, save lives and sadly are often forced to watch people succumb in their struggle for life. These are a select few who have been brought together to deal in the ultimate of stressful situations: treating the vulnerable in a war zone – fallen soldiers, enemy combatants and the civilians caught in-between.
