When the main pulp and paper industry of a maritime town shuts down due to changing times. To save the town, Alex starts a business in Internet Moderation. The towns people change their vocation in a hurry, but all this time exposed to the dirty underbelly of Internet culture is beginning to take a hilarious toll on their innocence.
Moderation Town, a comedy series set in a small Maritime town, launched this past Thursday, December 9, 2011 on Showcase. The six-part web series looks at what happens when the local factory folds and is replaced by an Internet moderation company. and new episodes can be seen every Local residents become not-so-internet-savvy content moderators, responsible for filtering the most offensive content off of the Internet.
