The IPF invested $47M in the production of 251 television drama series and pilots from 1991-2010, as well as $16.8M in the development and production of 163 scripted web drama series since 2010. It has also contributed over $5.4M in sponsorship to 471 professional development activities and events across Canada.
The IPF is incorporated as a charitable foundation with an endowment valued at $38M. It uses the interest generated by the endowment and return on its project investments for its annual operations and project funding. The IPF Board of Directors is composed of representatives from the industry and makes all final funding decisions.
