Ancestor follows the story of Deputy Michaels and his broken family – daughter Lily and his suddenly terminally ill wife, Sarah. While anticipating the loss of Sarah and single parenthood, Michael’s becomes a first responder to the discovery of a fossilized, humanoid robot predating human beings by over 400,000 years.
